new years resolutions for 2009

i normally do not have, nor make, any type of resolutions for myself for the new years that have come and gone, so this year i have decided (for once) to make a list of resolutions that i'm hoping to keep up with and make it a habit. therefore, here is my list of resolutions for 2009:

1. start cooking dinner. i usually make jason make dinner because he's good at it and he seems to love it. i just hate making the effort to cook, but i'm going to have to start sometime...
2. eat out less. totally draining money out of my wallet; therefore, another reason why i need to start doing no. 1.
3. CLEAN my room & jason's room every day. ugh. we're messy/lazy people. this resolution is going to be a toughie.
4. work out. i know this a common resolution for most people, but i want to try to work out every other day.  i hope the espiritu's will still have their gym open, the motivation from friends helps out a lot (i'm hoping they will have their gym open every other day... lol).
5. start saving money. i do this already, but i find myself touching my savings account when i'm running low in the checking account.
6. go to church. jason and i are pretty good at doing this, when it's NOT football season; therefore, i'm going to try to go with jason's mom in the mornings while he is praying at the Q.
7. make a donation. not too sure where yet, but it can't be for places that SDCCU sponsors for already, and that i've made donations in the past. i'm going to make a new donation... TBD.
8. go green. i got this awesome gift from care & mark for the white elephant gift exchange with all sorts of "go green" items. i'm going to use the reusable utensils & cloth when/if jason and i go out to eat. i will use the "recyclable" bags that i normally use to keep my yarn/projects in, to go shopping... so on and so forth with no. 8.
9. read and finish the harry potter series.
10. finish all my damn knitting and crocheting projects that are sitting in my closet.
